Counseling Center

College life is both rewarding and challenging. You may get stressed, feel anxious or have trouble navigating social relationships. This is part of the experience for many students, but it does not have to hold you back. Counseling Center counselors are here to help you throughout your journey. We want to help you achieve your dreams and goals. No concern is too small. Counseling services are free and confidential. It is part of the many ways that CMU supports students and their success.

Counseling Center staff are committed to creating an environment where all individuals will be appreciated and treated with respect. We welcome individuals of all ages, backgrounds, beliefs, ethnicities, genders, gender identities, gender expression, sexual orientations, national origin, religious affiliations, socioeconomic statuses, size, ability, and all other visible and nonvisible differences. We strive to create an open and safe environment where individuals can freely explore and express all identities, beliefs and values in order to achieve their own personal and academic success at CMU.
